Bee Rig Test (3D)

After directing the modeler and rigger on the design of the character I animated this scene in Maya to show the abilities of the rig to the client.

Timon and Pumbaa – Going Green” (2D)

I animated all characters in these 3 scenes. Traditional animation done on paper.

 

Mr. Fins” (3D) clip

Using an existing rig I modeled the environment and his fish, animated, and lit, this entire 30 second clip in Maya for the US Dept. of Commerce.

 

Ladybug Jane” (2D) clip

I animated all characters in these 4 scenes for a promotion sequences done for licensing of these characters. Animated on Paper and finishing done in Toonboom Digital Pro

 

Invitation” (3D)

Animated in Maya using a pre-existing rig. This was done as a test of this rig used to teach a class in character animation. I included it here to demonstrate more subtle acting.

 

the Fox and the Bird” (2D) clip

This film was also done for the US dept. of Commerce. Designed, animated, and painted all elements including backgrounds.

These are a few scenes of a work in progress. It is a paperless traditional animated film of my own story with all elements of the production being done by me.

Miracle Homes Commercial (2D) clip

Animated, clean up, color, and composited all characters in this commercial for Miracle Homes in Wisconsin. Animated on Paper. Color and composite done in Toonboom Digital Pro.

 

Knight on Horse (2D) clip

Animated both characters in this student film to demonstrate my ability to animated a horse and rider. Animated on paper.

 

Quadruped walk” (3D)

Animated in Maya using a pre-existing rig. This was done as a test of this rig used to teach a class in character animation. This is a limited version of this rig which didn't allow any control of the face and caused the model to break apart. I included it here to demonstrate my ability to do four legged animals with character.

 

Sherlock Holmes in the 21'st Century” (2D)

Animated both character traditionally on paper. I included this older scene to demonstrate my strong understanding of weigh in animation.

 

Alfred Tests (3D)

These are a couple of scenes done to test the rig for use in the “Mr. Fins” film done in Maya.

 

Yosemite Sam (2D)

Animated on Paper for Looney Tunes theatrical short.

Animated in Maya using a pre-existing rig. This was done as a test of this rig used to teach a class in character animation. I included it here to demonstrate weight.
